The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA), is a process developed by the Catholic Church for prospective converts to Catholicism who are above the age of infant baptism. RCIA is also for those who were not confirmed as teenagers, or those who grew up in another religion and now want to be Catholic. Candidates are gradually introduced to aspects fo the Catholic beliefs and practices. As an adult, it usually takes a few months of (RCIA) classes and you are officially brought in during the Easter Vigil. Depending on your circumstances, you may receive baptism, first communion and confirmation all in one mass.
Please call or email Father Brian if you want to participate in this year's RCIA group.
