Dear Parishioners and Friends of Spirit of Life AFC,
In this time of fear, illness, and isolation we want to offer you the opportunity to receive the Body of Christ. May Christ strengthen us for the future, and comfort us in the present. As we pray as an AFC, we invite you to please take your time, and treat others with respect, patience, and gentleness.
The opportunity to receive the Eucharist will be offered at each of our 4 parishes. Please prepare yourself for the Eucharist by reviewing the daily readings for mass, praying a Penitential prayer or an Act of Contrition and the Lord’s Prayer. After you receive the Blessed Eucharist please offer a prayer of thanksgiving and a prayer to our Blessed Mother.
The distribution of the Blessed Eucharist will be held:
In Madison on Saturdays beginning at 5:00 pm. Please enter the church parking lot via the east driveway, 4th Avenue, and exit via the north driveway on to 4th Street.
In Graceville on Sundays beginning at 8:00 am. Please approach the church on the east side by the ramp on West 5th Street and exit to the south on Parnell Avenue.
In Ortonville on Sundays beginning at 10:00 am. Please use the alley entering via the south and exiting via the north.
In Rosen on Sundays beginning at 5:00 pm. Please drive up to the parking lot, make a loop to the west and then exit the lot via the driveway.
This distribution will be a continued movement. It is not a time to visit, it is your reception of the Blessed Eucharist, as if you were in the church. Keep in mind your fast from food for one hour! Everyone is asked to please remain in your automobile. Please wash your hands thoroughly in preparation of receiving the Holy Eucharist.
We also are planning to have the Sunday mass available for you to view at noon, on Sundays, via Facebook. Please call the Ortonville office for more information.
Peace and gentle blessings,
Father Brian Oestreich
