Time- 5:00 PM Mass with Chili contest to follow at the Parish center

Holy Rosary Catholic Church is hosting a fundraiser to build a home for a family in San Lucas Guatemala and to get people out of the house for a night of fun, food, and fellowship. We are hoping to raise $5,000.00 + to build one home plus furnishings for a family in Guatemala. As everyone is aware there is a group of parishioners from our area faith community that will be going to Guatemala to work on and build these homes and furnishings. The people on the mission trip have all paid their own way and the money being raised is strictly for the housing project. The name of this project is the Santo Rosario house which in English is Holy Rosary House.

Events planned:
Free will donation Chili cook off contest with sweet rolls and fixings, with wild rice soup for the those who do not like chili.
Games to win a variety of donated prizes including an ice auger, a couple guns, a couple quilts, a Pioneer Meats meat bundle, and any other prizes that parishioners may be willing to donate.
½ take Bingo
Bake sale. We will set up tables for any baked goods anyone may want to contribute. All baked goods must be wrapped or zip-locked bagged for individual sale.

Please plan to join us for a night of fellowship, fun, food, and to support our missionary work in Guatemala. All are welcome to attend.
This is an idea to get the community together for fellowship and hopefully raise a little money to help a family in need as well as bring awareness to the needs of our missionary work for our diocese and to just break up the cold of January.
